Welcome to Our School
Families in Kernersville have turned to La Petite Academy of Kernersville since December 1988 for child care and early education. Our daycare and preschool is near Talleys Crossing Fire Department and Cash Elementary School. At our school, our team holds a bachelor's degree in early childhood development and Administration I and II credentials. We serve families from Winston-Salem.
Our school's programs are Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Preschool, Pre-K, and Before and After School Care, for ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We work with third-party tuition assistance, and we can talk it through on tour. Learn from the Start® builds infant learning through loving relationships, and Learn as We Grow® for Toddlers through Pre-K builds on hands-on exploration, like two-year-olds noticing growth through baby pictures and plants.
Children can try Spotlight on Phonics, which builds foundational skills in early literacy, or Gymnastics, which brings active fun and new skills together. See the whole list on this page. My name is Tiffany McCummings and I have been with La Petite Academy for 20 years. Before moving to my current position, I worked out on the floor with all ages, from infants to school-age. Over the past several years I have enjoyed being a part of so many children's lives, helping them to grow and become confident and intelligent individuals. I am an advocate for my families, the children, and my staff and I enjoy growing close relationships with each and everyone.

Amzing place, I was skeptical about putting my son in any daycare/ pre-school. But, they have made me completely comfortable with my decision every day and my child loves it and is learning so much.
