Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Westerville, OH! My name is Kristin and I am the academy director at our Valley Quail location.

We offer educational based care for children as young as six weeks through 12 years old in the Westerville, Gahanna and Columbus communities. Our goal is to provide families and children with a positive, fun, and professional environment that promotes community and a lifelong love of learning. Our Infant care and Preschool programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and development.

We have an outstanding staff dedicated to our children and families with over 50 years of combined experience! All of our teachers receive monthly training as well as ongoing training provided by the State of Ohio.

Meet Our Staff

Kristin Coppock, Director

Education: Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University

I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University in 2010. I have been working for La Petite Academy since 2014 where I started as a lead teacher. I took an assistant director role in 2016 and eventually became director in autumn 2021. I love helping families find high quality education and care at our school!

Rachel Martin, Assistant Director

Education: I have an Associates in Human Nutrition from Columbus State Community College.

Certifications: ServSafe, CPR/First Aid/AED

I received my Associates in Human Nutrition from Columbus State Community College in 2016. I have been at La Petite since July 2010. I have been the lead teacher in almost every room, & eventually was offered the Team Lead position in 2018, then offered the Assistant Director position in July 2021. Previously, I did in home daycare when my own 4 children were little, & once they got older, I decided to get a job teaching at the same preschool/daycare they were attending. I love my job here!
