Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy of Voorhees, NJ. My name is Lindsay and I am the director. We provide a warm and friendly atmosphere and quality education. With our tenured teachers and individualized custom curriculum, your child will receive a superior academic foundation that will help them succeed in Kindergarten and beyond.

We offer loving Infant care, superior preschool programs and more to Voorhees, Cherry Hill, Berlin, Haddonfield, Gibbsboro, Clementon, Gloucester Township and countless others. We maintain an open-door policy for all families and we are always available either in the office, by phone or via email.

All of our staff is CPR and First Aid certified, and together we have more than 200 years of experience. All teachers receive ongoing training provided by the state. Our main entry door is equipped with a security system and only those who are authorized are able to enter. We value the relationships we have with our families and work hard to involve them.

We’re committed to providing simple ways to keep you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. With live streaming video, you can view your child’s classroom from any device or computer. Plus, get real-time updates with our family communication app.

We closely follow recommendations from state and local authorities, to maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment.

I have been working in early childhood education for over 20 years. I enjoy interacting with our youngest learners and being part of their development. I love getting to know each of our families and creating a culture of family here at La Petite.

Jordan Virgilio, Assistant Director

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Rowan University

Certifications: CPR/First Aid

The first five years are some of the most crucial developmental years in a child’s life. Working in early childhood education for the last six years has taught me the importance of a positive nurturing environment for children. Creating an environment where children can learn, grow, and develop into their greatest potential is my number one priority.
