Welcome to La Petite Academy, located in Tampa, FL! We are a NECPA accredited Preschool school serving the Carrollwood and Northdale areas. We provide child care and education for children ages six weeks though 12 years.

We host the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program (VPK) We have an outstanding staff dedicated to our children and families, with an abundance of teaching experience.

Give Your Child a Great Start With VPK

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program that includes breakfast and lunch, with the option of extended wrap care. My name is Jessica DeMott, and I am your director here at The Mapledale La Petite. I have a passion for providing children with developmentally appropriate activities in a safe and nurturing environment. I can't wait for the opportunity to meet you and help promote a lifelong love of learning.

I have been working with children since 2011, and have found that one of my favorite parts of working with children is that "light bulb moment", when what you have been trying to teach them finally clicks.
