Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Scottsdale, AZ! My name is Sara and I am the school director. I have over 20 years of experience in early childhood education and hold an associate's degree in psychology and am currently working towards my bachelor's.

Our school offers Infant care and a STEM-based curriculum for Preschool and Pre-K programs. We are enrolled in the Quality First program and have a 3-star rating. We serve the Scottsdale, North Phoenix and Paradise Valley communities.

I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment and maintain an open-door policy for all my parents. We plan many events for everyone to participate in and I work hard to ensure that families meet each other and develop strong relationships.

I'm proud of my team of teachers. Collectively, we have over 150 years of experience. All teachers receive monthly training to keep them abreast of the latest research and developments.

Sara Pierce, Director

Education: Studied Sociology at Liberty University and Barstow College

Certifications: CPR and First Aid Certified; Office Specialist Certification; Associate's Degree; Currently Achieving Bachelor's

Throughout my life I have had a passion to enrich the lives of children through education. I have worked with children through our church as the director of our Sunday school program for the past 20 years. My husband and I have also had many different ages of children in our home and hearts through the foster care system. I have been on counseling committees connected to our church and community throughout the years and love to help and re-instill confidence and passion to others.

Amanda Rodriguez, School Education Manager

Education: Studied Political Science at the City University of New York - Brooklyn College

Certifications: Child Development Associate (CDA) specialized in Preschool Education; LCG Master Teacher Certification; Pediatric CPR and First Aid

I have over 18 years of combined experience working in Education; 11 years of which have been in early childhood and have been growing with Learning Care Group since 2014. I love that I get to support children's learning while creating the very best experience for them and our families.
