Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy, an educational preschool and daycare on the Northeast side of San Antonio, TX! My name is Marie and I am the academy director and I have worked for La Petite since 2017. La Petite Academy has been licensed and serving the North East Judson & 1604 surrounding communities since 1986.

Our school offers Infant and Toddler care, Preschool, Pre-K and other early education programs up to 12 years old. We proudly participate in the Pre-K for SA Program. We hold a National Early Childhood Program Accreditation through NECPA and a 4-star Texas Rising Star State Accreditation.

We are excited to offer technology in our School-Age classroom including iPads featuring apps to create art, music and videos, tripods for movie making, robots for coding, gaming systems and a secure WiFi network for homework. We also offer premium diapers and wipes.

We also have state-of-the-art security features to ensure the safety of your child. We serve the NEISD school districts and currently pick up at Steubing Ranch, Stahl, and Longs Creek. We also have a summer camp available for our School-Age students.

I have 26 years of experience in child development in management and as a teacher. I have been with La Petite Academy for four years and have enjoyed every bit of my time here! I enjoy interacting with all the children and families in our care. The safety and well being of every child is our first priority. What amazes me is that after so many years in this field, I still manage to learn something new almost every day! I look forward to working with you and your family.

My love of working with children began at 13 by volunteering with the American Red Cross and babysitting. I moved to Texas in 2010 and began my career in early childhood education. I worked for a small facility before beginning my career with La Petite Academy in 2013 at our Schertz, TX location and then our Judson location in March of 2020.
