Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Rio Rancho, NM. We are located off of Highway 528 and Sara Road near Intel. My name is Tiffany and I'm the Academy Director of this school for Infant Care, Preschool and other age-appropriate options. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and my Child Development Associate Certification, as well as more than 15 years in the field.

Our academy was established in 1994 and our teachers take great pride presenting Rio Rancho with the highest caliber of child care and early education. About a third of our staff has been with us for more than three years and they stay current with monthly training sessions and ongoing training offered by the state.

Our purpose is to empower children to acquire the skills they will need to become creative problem solvers, lifelong learners, and responsible members of the community.

Our school is equipped with a security entry system to protect the children in our care. The system ensures that only people with access will be allowed to enter the school. We are proud to say that our center is nationally accredited and that we have achieved a five-star rating in New Mexico's Look for the STARS program.

Tiffany Wilson, Director

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Child Development Associate

I have been in the early childhood field for over 15 years. I love being a part of young children's lives, each day. It is extremely rewarding to come to work and see how excited the children are to learn. I take pride in knowing that I have made a difference in their lives.

I've been with La Petite Academy for almost six years and started off as a Pre-K teacher. My passion is working with children and meeting each of their needs. I enjoy working with ALL age groups. I love being a part of children growing and learning how to become more independent. The families I work with at La Petite have become like a second family to me!

Education: Associate's Degree in Children, Youth, and Families; Associate's in Applied Science; 45 Hour Course in ECE

I have been working with children for the last 12 years. I have been with La Petite Academy for the past eight years. The best part of working with children is watching them grow with us.
