Welcome to Our School

Welcome! My name is Johanna and I am the director and La Petite Academy in Port Saint Lucie - Saint Lucie West. I have been with La Petite since 2014 and in the early childhood education industry since 2002. Quality childcare is my ultimate goal and I strive daily to provide a successful program for you and your child.

We offer unique education programs that tailor to the development of the children such as Active Infants Safe Spaces, STEM based Preschool Curriculum and Florida VPK.

My staff and I participate in ongoing training to further our knowledge, and a majority of our staff have college degrees. Our classrooms are spacious, clean and decorated by the children to bring character and a feeling of home into the school.

Give Your Child a Great Start With VPK

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program that includes breakfast and lunch, with the option of extended wrap care. This full-day learning experience enhances your child’s school readiness journey. Every child who turns 4 by September 1 may be eligible for free VPK. Schedule a tour to learn more.

I have always enjoyed working with children and watching them learn. I believe a well-developed curriculum provides a strong foundation for early childhood education and I pride myself on mentoring teachers to establish a well rounded classroom.
