Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy in O'Fallon, IL. My name is Sara and I am the academy director. I have my associate's degree in early childhood education. Drawing from this, I can confidently say that we offer the best Infant/Toddler Care, Preschool and other early education programs in O'Fallon.

Our school is nationally accredited by NAEYC and we are a gold rated school with the state of Illinois. We continue to meet the needs of accreditation standards which are higher than those of the State of Illinois Daycare Licensing Standards.

Teachers at our school have backgrounds in early childhood and elementary education. They receive regular training throughout the year. We value the relationships we have with our families and work hard to involve them through monthly events and activities. I create a warm and nurturing environment for the children, parents, and staff.

Meet Our Staff

Sara Wagner, Director

Education: Associates in Early Childhood Education

I have been in the education field professionally for 15 years. I have worked every aspect of this field, but the majority of my experience has been a teacher in the two year old room. I love that age group as they are very energetic and you really start to see their little personalities come through. I am also the mom of two sons who are my greatest achievements. Family is incredibly important to me and I use that importance in helping me make daily decisions as the Academy Director.
