Welcome to La Petite Academy daycare and preschool in North Las Vegas, NV. We serve the North and Northwest communities and provide care and education for children. We also offer flex care and part-time options.

Our school is accredited by NECPA and we received a 2 Star rating from QRIS. We offer a STEM curriculum which promotes learning in science, technology, engineering and math.

Our remodeled school has new paint, floors, refreshed classrooms, and updated safety and security features. We also have new interior and exterior cameras to view our classrooms, playgrounds, lobby and entrances.

Kharia Taylor, Director

Education: College of Southern Nevada

Certifications: Child Development Associate Credential (CDA)

I started in the Early Childhood Field 24 years ago when I was 17 years old! I have been working with Learning Care Group since 2003. I have three children an 18 year old, 14 year old and a 10 years old who all attended Childtime one of our sister schools. I have been a teacher in every age group and I love seeing children learn and grow!

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and a minor in American Sign Language

I have been with Learning Care Group since 2020. I have always had a passion for working with young children. I look forward to watching the the children I teach learn and grow! I look forward to welcoming you to our school soon!

Hello, I am Kiare! I have been with La Petite for two years. I was an Infant/Toddler teacher and helped out in every classroom. I love teaching and can't wait to see the children I care for grow and move on to Kindergarten.

Education: University of California, Riverside

Certifications: Child Development Teacher Permit

I have been in the Early Childhood Field for over 12 years. I have experience in ages form 15 months to five years old. I look forward to putting my experience to use by preparing the children with the necessary skills to succeed in their next education level.
