Welcome to La Petite Academy in Norman, OK. We are located off Alameda and Vicksburg.

My name is Stacey Knipp and I am the Academy Director. I have over 10 years of experience in early childhood development and have been with the company since January of 2017. I had started out as a teacher in the Pre-K class and worked my way up in the company to become a director.

La Petite Academy is a 3-star facility through our accreditation from NECPA. We offer programs for Infants through Preschool and School-Age options. We also offer a Summer Camp program for Toddlers through our School-Age children. Our curriculum was designed to ensure that all children reach and master significant milestones and indicators. Teachers meet all state requirements and receive ongoing yearly professional development training.

We are excited to offer new technology in our School-Age classroom. Enhancements include iPads featuring apps to create art, music and videos, tripods for moviemaking, robots for coding, a new gaming system and a secure WiFi network for homework.

Making each and every family feel important is our utmost priority. We strive to create a warm and welcoming environment and maintain an open-door policy for anyone who would like to talk. We plan a lot of events for everyone to participate in and we work hard to ensure that families meet each other and develop strong relationships, as well.

I had started working at La Petite Academy in October 2016 and started as the lead teacher in the early preschool room and throughout the years at La Petite I have moved up to the team lead then the assistant director. I am currently working towards getting my CDA credentials in early childhood development.
