Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Nashville, TN! Our academy was established in 1986 and has a long-standing reputation of family involvement. My name is Melissa and I am the director. I have had extensive educational training through the state and am confident that our Infant care and Preschool programs are second to none.

My staff and I enjoy interacting with families and the community we serve. We value our relationships and enjoy getting parents involved in the school to help foster their children's growth and development. To boost parental participation, we offer monthly programs and events.

We have a dedicated and skilled staff with 100 percent having five or more years of service with us in Nashville. Our teachers have a total of 138 years of combined experience in early childhood education. They are all certified in CPR and First Aid and trained in TN Early Learning Development Standards.

I have always had a passion for early childhood education and love being a part of a child's growth and development. I take pride in building a strong sense of community both inside and outside the school, partnering with parents and teachers to ensure lifelong learning.

I have 20 years of experience in child care. I have a passion for working with young children and watching them grow. My goal is to give children the best possible learning experiences that will help them develop and get ready for not only kindergarten but for life.
