Welcome to Our School

Thank you for visiting La Petite Academy educational daycare in Middleburg, FL! We service the areas of Lake Asbury, Middleburg, Doctors Inlet, and Brannan Field.

We offer loving Infant care, superior Preschool programs and more. Our school loves to participate in community involvement activities including Penny Farms Retirement, canned food drives, and animal food drives for our local animal shelter.

We value the relationships we have with our families and work hard to involve them. We offer a number of opportunities for them to volunteer in classrooms, as well as at monthly events.

All of our staff is CPR and First Aid certified, and together we have more than 150 years of child care experience. All of our teachers receive monthly training as well as ongoing training provided by the state.

Give Your Child a Great Start With VPK

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program that includes breakfast and lunch, with the option of extended wrap care. This full-day learning experience enhances your child’s school readiness journey. Every child who turns 4 by September 1 may be eligible for free VPK. Schedule a tour to learn more.

I have been part of the La Petite family for 25 years! The best part about working with children is seeing them grow and develop every single day. I am blessed knowing that I have been a part of their young lives as they begin to develop a love for learning.

I joined La Petite Academy 25 years ago as the school-age teacher. I have worked in every classroom and the kitchen. I recently decided to take on the role of assistant director. I have been blessed to watch children grow every day.

Amber Pilgrim, Team Lead

Education: BA in Sociology

Certifications: CDA and Fist Aid/CPR

I have had the privilege of working with children for ten years. I love watching them learn and grow. I have worked with all age groups but am currently the VPK teacher as well as Team Lead. A part of my job that I love is that I get to know each child on an individual basis.
