Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy in Lenexa, KS! My name is Lisa and I am the academy director. I have worked in an early childhood setting for many years and love being part of the La Petite Academy family.

Our school offers Infant Care, Preschool and other early education programs. As the leader in educational child care, our school partners with parents to help children prepare for a future of learning.

We have a talented group of teachers who have more than 123 combined years of experience at our school. Many have earned college degrees or child development certifications. All of our teachers receive monthly training and meet all state requirements.

We’re committed to providing simple ways to keep you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. With live streaming video, you can view your child’s classroom from any device or computer. Plus, get real-time updates with our family communication app.

We closely follow recommendations from state and local authorities, to maintain a clean, safe, healthy environment.

I never get bored when I'm around children because you get so much back from them. My favorite thing about working with little ones is when they laugh - you can't help but smile and laugh with them. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my dog, cooking, reading, and KU basketball.

Nothing matches the energy of a child’s enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. It's rewarding seeing each child succeed and achieve their goals through the love and dedication that is given and taught each day. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two boys!
