Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy, NC! My name is Tiffany McCummings and I am the center director. I have a degree in education as well as an administration certification, and I have been working with children for over 25 years.

We offer Infant Care, Preschool and Pre-K options, as well as a School-Age program that provides transportation, snacks, and homework assistance after school. Our center also provides exciting camps for spring break and summer as well as public-school closing days.

We have updated technology in our Preschool, Pre-K, and School-Age classrooms! Our School-Age children have iPads with educational apps and games. We also have robots for coding and a new gaming system and more!

We’re committed to keeping you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. Get access to live streaming video of your child’s classroom, plus other real-time updates, with our exclusive mobile app for families, SproutAbout.

Amzing place, I was skeptical about putting my son in any daycare/ pre-school. But, they have made me completely comfortable with my decision every day and my child loves it and is learning so much. My name is Tiffany McCummings and I have been with La Petite Academy for 18 years. Before moving to my current position, I worked out on the floor with all ages, from infants to school-age. Over the past several years I have enjoyed being a part of so many children's lives, helping them to grow and become confident and intelligent individuals. I am an advocate for my families, the children, and my staff and I enjoy growing close relationships with each and everyone.

Hello! My name is Patricia Jones. I have been a part of Learning Care Group for eight years. Before stepping into management, I worked in the classroom as a preschool and a pre-k teacher. Throughout the years I haven been able to grow strong bonds with my children and their families. In management, I will continue to strengthen these relationships as well as being a positive leader and support system for my staff.
