Welcome to Our School

Thank you for taking time to learn more about our La Petite Academy in Hampton, VA. My name is Tiarra and I am the academy director.

Here at La Petite we offer a safe, nurturing environment in our Infant program all the way to our School-Age program. Our individualized lesson plans are based on each child's developmental needs to ensure every student is ready to take their next steps.

We strive to stay on the cutting edge of early childhood education which is why our teachers are continuously trained on the latest findings. Many of our teachers have been with our school for over five years and there is always someone on site who is trained in First Aid and CPR. Safety is the utmost importance to us, and all visitors must check in at the front desk and provide us with a picture I.D. before entering the classroom area.

I have over 10 years of child care experience and multiple years of counseling and administration experience. I am very invested in our school and determined to continue to shape and mold our children for the future.

I have over eight years of experience in child care, ranging from working as a private nanny to a lead teacher. I believe early childhood education is one of the most important parts of a child's life and it is my passion to help our future leaders grow!
