Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy in Greenville, SC! My name is Ann and I am the director. I have been employed with La Petite Academy for 19 years but started my journey with them as a parent of a four-year-old. I have my Early Childhood Credential, an associate's degree in social services for children and a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Our unique curriculum begins in our Infant program and progresses with your child as they advance through our Pre-Kindergarten and After-School programs. Our teachers carefully create lesson plans based on daily observations, assessments and the children's interests.

We have an outstanding staff with a majority of our teachers having been here between six and 25 years giving us a total of 180 years of combined child care experience. Our lead teachers have their early childhood certifications and continue their education with annual early childhood classes.

We host family events and work hard to ensure our families in the Greenville, Simpsonville and Mauldin areas meet each other and develop strong relationships.

Education: Associate's Degree in Social Services for Children & Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Working with children and families has been a passion of mine, fostered by my grandmother, who took me to work with her as an early childhood educator when I was very young. Her patience and belief in all children's abilities guided me to become the director I am today.
