Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Frederick, MD.

We are proud to be a NECPA-accredited school! Our center offers programs for children ages six weeks to 12 years old through our Infant Care, Preschool and School-Age programs.

Our teachers are loving, engaging and professional, and they put the needs of the children first. The average teacher has been here for eight years! Our teachers are CPR and First Aid certified and they participate in training opportunities throughout the year.

We pride ourselves on developing strong relationships with each one of our families. We encourage them to get involved by offering a number of special events including game nights, Parents' Night Out, and more.

Education: Bachelor's In Liberal Studies

Certifications: 90 Clock Hours, 45 Hours in Infant and Toddlers, CPR/First Aid , 45 Hours School Age

I have always had a passion and love for children. I enjoy watching them grow and develop through the different stages of their lives. I find great joy in spending time in the classrooms while engaging with the children and teachers. Outside of work my passions include; cooking, basketball, comics, and gaming!

I have worked in child care for over 10 years. I love to watch the children learn and grow, and especially to see their individual personalities develop. And who doesn't love the funny things they say?

The cliché of "I love working with children" has been used so many times, but it's absolutely true! I love the spontaneity and continuous joy they bring! With over 30 years of child care experience, I'm happy to say my home has been here at La Petite for the last 18 years.
