Welcome to Our School

Welcome! My name is Kim Briggs and I am the Academy Director of the La Petite Academy of Dublin, OH.

Our academy offers Infant care beginning at six weeks of age, as well as a full Preschool program focusing on Kindergarten readiness, and a School-Age program for before- and after-school care and care during school breaks for children up to 10 years of age.

Through assessments, weekly lesson plans, and individualized student portfolios as well as Parent Teacher Conferences, we provide the perfect foundation for learning and development. Our top-notch curriculum, clean and safe environment, and team of professionals help us stand out from other child care centers in the area.

We are a 1-Star rated Step Up to Quality center through the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services. Our committed team of educators fosters children's growth, development, and a lifelong love of learning! Teachers also participate in yearly training to stay up to date on best practices and child development.

Education: B.A. Family and Child Development

Certifications: First Aid, Infant, Child and Adult CPR, Communicable Disease and Recognizing Child Abuse, Early Childhood Curriculum

I have been working in Early Childhood Education since 1995. I have taught Head Start, Special Needs Preschool and Childcare programs. I have been a teacher, Assistant Director and a Licensing Coordinator prior to coming to La Petite Academy. I am a proud Mom of two. I live in Lewis Center with my kids and my golden doodle Joey. I love to read and spend time with my family and friends. I look forward to welcoming you into our center!
