Welcome to Our School

Welcome to a nationally accredited La Petite Academy located in Centreville, VA! My name is Jennifer Fenner and I am your academy director. I have over 20 years of experience in the field of early childhood education. As the director, I take great pride in knowing that our school strives for excellence and high quality care, while promoting an environment that is conducive to learning.

We have amazing staff members who are dedicated and committed to what they do. Our teachers are nurturing, loving and have over 100 years of combined experience in child care!

We offer Infant Care, Toddlers, Two's, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, Junior Kindergarten, Flexible Care, as well as a Before- and After-School program for Fairfax County schools. We also offer, soccer, Spanish, cooking, phonics, and yoga tutorial programs year round as well as seasonal trips and extracurricular activities.

Jennifer Fenner, Director

Education: Associate's Degrees in Early Childhood Education and Applied Science

Certifications: Member of NAEYC

I grew up in Northern Virginia and have been working in the early childhood field since 2002. I joined this school is 2019 and I love it! I am a breast cancer survivor and a full time mother to two boys who I adore. My passion is education and curriculum and I find myself spending a lot of my time in the classrooms. I graduated from NVCC in 2005 majoring in early childhood education and applied sciences.

Education: CDA in Early Childhood Development

I began my journey with the Learning Care Group in 2017. I started working as a Jr. Kindergarten teacher and I quickly learned that La Petite Academy was home and took a management position at the start of the new school year in 2019. Before joining Child Time and La Petite Academy, I was in various roles in management and classroom support. I have 2 children of my own who mean the world to me. I love where I work and the passionate teachers we have here educating our students. We are a family!

Education: Bachelor's Degree

I'm Mrs. Monika, and I'm excited to be here at La Petite Academy. I have worked in early childhood education for more than 20 years. My main role here at our school is to ensure that children and teachers are learning and developing to their best potential. I grew up in Maryland and have lived in Northern Virginia for a while now. I love this area. I am here to support Ms. Jennifer and the staff to ensure we are giving our families the very best place for their children.
