Welcome to our La Petite Academy in Brandon, FL. My name is Heather Pearce and I am the Director for this location and I bring 18 years of experience to this school!

Our school offers loving and superior early childhood education curriculum that is nationally recognized by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation. These standards exceed the expectations of the State of Florida's Child Daycare Licensing Standards. Our location has been a proud part of the Brandon community for more than 35 years. This commitment to lifelong learning is one that can be seen in our tenured staff, with some of the teachers having more than 20 years with La Petite Academy.

Give Your Child a Great Start With VPK

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program that includes breakfast and lunch, with the option of extended wrap care. I have been in the childcare field for 18 years. I have been with La Petite since 2019 where I started out as an assistant director before moving onto director. I have always enjoyed working with children and I like to see the difference we can make in a child's life each day!

Hello! I started my journey in early childhood seven years ago, five of those years have been with La Petite Academy. Each year I have been here I have grown, started by achieving my CDA, and went on to receive my Master Teacher. I love seeing children of all ages grow and become their own little person and achieve so much .
