Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare and preschool in Bonita, CA. My name is Kristen and I am the academy director. I have over 14 years of teaching experience with Infants through School-Age. I have been with La Petite Academy for nine years and have a degree in early childhood education.

We have a fabulous group of teachers, many of whom have been here more than 20 years. Our teachers are extensively trained and are mostly all bilingual. Many hold advanced degrees in early childhood education and child development, as well as certifications in CPR and First Aid.

At La Petite Academy, we are dedicated to fostering educational development, building self-esteem and sparking imagination in a safe and loving environment. We teach skills like teamwork, citizenship, and respect to help children develop in every way.

I am honored to serve as the director here at La Petite Academy. I have devoted more than 14 years to working with children, starting off as a lead two year old teacher before making my way up to the schools center Director. I love being a part of their early education and really enjoy helping them create a love for learning early on and watching them master something new! I cant wait to build a relationship with each child and their family.

Along with holding the team lead role, I am also our safety captain and our Pre-K teacher. I love watching a child achieve an education goal that they have been working on.
