Welcome to La Petite Academy in Midwest City, OK! We are located near Tinker Air Force base, Midwest City, Del City, Nicoma Park and Choctaw areas.

Our school offers educational programs for Toddler, Two's, Early Preschool and School-Age. We are nationally accredited by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation and are a Three-Star school meeting all requirements through the Department of Human Services childcare licensing.

Shelly Ging, Director

Education: Rose State College, Oklahoma Community College and Moore Norman Vocational Technical School

Certifications: Oklahoma Director Credential, NAC and DAT Director Certifications, Certified Childcare Credential

Being a director is greatly rewarding. I love coming to my school every day and seeing the children grow and learn in our wonderful educational program. I have been a teacher and a manager here at La Petite Academy for over 28 years.

I have been with La Petite Academy for 10 years! I started as a parent in 2011, then a teacher in 2014, then a team lead in 2018, and now assistant director as of 2022. I look forward to seeing all of our families and children each day!

I am the Team Lead and also the Pre-Kindergarten Teacher here at our school. I have been employed here at La Petite Academy for over 27 years. I enjoy teaching the children and mentoring, as well.
