Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy daycare and preschool in Westminster, CO! At La Petite Academy, we take pride in loving your child while providing them with an education to help prepare them for school. We offer programs for children six weeks old through the age of 10 with a state-of-the-art curriculum and specially trained teachers.

All of our classrooms use the Colorado Quality Standards for Early Childhood Care and Education Services as indicators of developmentally appropriate practices. We have worked hard to achieve and maintain a level 3 through the Colorado Shines Program.

Together, our staff has over 120 years of experience with children and families! Every teacher participates in various training opportunities throughout the year including CPR/First Aid, Standard Precautions, Safe Sleep, Health and Safety and Licensing.

I strive to ensure a happy, comforting, safe environment for children and families in our care. I have a passion for being a part of such a vital stage in children's lives and seeing them blossom, grow, and learn to their full potential. Every step along the way is remarkable.

As a former teacher to now being the assistant center director, I intend to provide a safe, loving and caring environment for all children and families. My goal is that all families feel safe with leaving their child/children in our care. With all my years with La Petite I have grown so many great relationships with children and families and I strive to continue to do so!

Education: ECE Classes at Front Range College

Certifications: Master Teacher, Director Certification

Working with children at La Petite Academy for over 30 years is my pride and joy. I love watching them grow into independent individuals and I love watching their minds work. As a lead teacher, master teacher, and CPP teacher, my passion is to educate young ones and prepare them for elementary.
