Welcome to Our School

Thank you for visiting La Petite Academy educational daycare and preschool in San Diego, CA! My name is Jamie and I am the school director. I have 10+ years of experience in child care and I have had the honor of working at this La Petite Academy location since 2018.

Our Infant care, Preschool programs and Transitional Kindergarten+ class provide the perfect foundation for learning and development. A loving, nurturing and safe environment is maintained throughout our school and is made evident by our securely locked doors and sign-in process.

Our team of dedicated teachers provide loving care while keeping each child engaged in fun and exciting learning opportunities. Collectively, our teachers have experience ranging from one year to 24 years, are First Aid/CPR certified, and receive ongoing training through the year.

Working with children has always been a passion of mine. It is undoubtedly an exciting experience to watch them grow and develop, especially in their first five years. To see their smiles, be a recipient of their hugs, and to witness their successes - big and small - is absolutely rewarding and my favorite part of the job.
