Welcome to Our School

Thank you for visiting La Petite Academy educational daycare and preschool in Rio Rancho, NM. My name is DeAnn and I am the director. I have my CDA and 15 years of experience with La Petite Academy. Our school was established in 1982 and provides Rio Rancho with first rate care and education through our Preschool and other age-specific programs. We are currently a five-star, nationally accredited center through NAEYC.

Our staff is caring and dedicated to our children and families. Together, we have more than 100 years of experience and 1,600 hours of training! Our staff receives training on a regular basis to maintain licensing regulations, and all of our lead teachers have either their CDA, associate's degree or bachelor's degree.

Certifications: 45 Hour Entry Level Certificate in Early Childhood and CPR/First Aid Certification

I enjoy being a part of children's development at every age. I am passionate about working in partnership with the community, teachers and parents in educating our children. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in early childhood.

I have over 20 years of experience in early childhood development. I have worked with the company for over eight years as a teacher, lead teacher and have worked my way up to being a part of management. As your assistant director, I promise to positively impact every child at our school.

I enjoy being a lead teacher in the Preschool class and watching little minds grow. I also love supporting my management team with any additional tasks. I enjoy multitasking and ensuring parents that their children are in a safe and loving environment.
