Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy in Orlando, FL! My name is Nicole and I am the academy director. I hold both a CDA and a Florida Director Credential and have more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education.

We are located at the corner of Forest City Road and Pembrook Drive in Orlando, just before the State Road 414/Maitland Boulevard underpass. We proudly serve the families of the Orlando/Altamonte Springs/Maitland/Apopka areas and service Riverside Elementary School.

Our daycare provides an enriched, stimulating environment in our Infant/Toddler Care, Preschool, VPK and School-Age. At La Petite Academy, we supply children with both the freedom and the instruction to thrive.

We are accredited by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation and have a Gold Seal certification. Staff members have been with our program for 10 to 15 years and combined, we have more than 100 years of experience! Many of our Early Educators hold a CDA or higher. All staff are First Aid and CPR certified and several are bilingual.

Give Your Child a Great Start With VPK

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program that includes breakfast and lunch, with the option of extended wrap care. This full-day learning experience enhances your child’s school readiness journey. Every child who turns 4 by September 1 may be eligible for free VPK. Schedule a tour to learn more.

I've worked in child care since 1984 and I've been with the company since 1986. I love being a part of the growth of the children. They even come back to visit me when they get older, and bring their children here. I'm a big sports lover, especially football.
