One of our primary focuses in our Infant to Preschool programs is to teach through play, in order to cultivate kinesthetic and cognitive development. We also teach critical thinking skills by encouraging children to make their own choices and providing a variety of opportunities for them to express their interests.

Our teachers are dedicated to providing the highest standards of learning and care for your child. They are all certified in First Aid and CPR and have many years of experience. They also participate in ongoing training to ensure they are the best in their field.

Give Your Child a Great Start With VPK

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) is a free daily, 4-hour program that includes breakfast and lunch, with the option of extended wrap care. This full-day learning experience enhances your child’s school readiness journey. Every child who turns 4 by September 1 may be eligible for free VPK. Schedule a tour to learn more.

Education: Directors Credential, Early Child Care Degree, Staff Credential

My name is Ashley Wilcox, I am the director here at La Petite. I have over ten years of experience working in childcare. I have worked in after school programs and was promoted to coordinator over those programs. I have worked in the public school system as well as volunteering my time mentoring and teaching the youth on the weekends. I work with the community to bring this generation together by inspiring and mentoring. I direct and teach through love and compassion.
