Welcome to Our School

Welcome to La Petite Academy in Chesapeake, VA! We are so excited to get work with all of the families at La Petite Academy!

For more than 25 years, our center has helped children grow and develop in a safe and inviting environment. In addition to providing superior local Infant Care, our Toddler through Pre-Kindergarten programs offer the best early education in the community. We also have a new Before- and After-School program focused on developing self-esteem and independence.

Most of our teachers have earned degrees in early childhood education and have been working in the field for many years. Each teacher is certified in CPR and First Aid. We are also nut-free in order to keep children with allergies safe while they are in our care.

Education: B.S. in Psychology , Child Development, Associate Credential, Associates in Social Sciences

Certifications: MAT Certified, CPR/First Aid Certified, Health and Safety training

I've always had a passion for working with children. I started my career as a lead toddler teacher and branched out to management to make an impact on an entire school. I enjoy providing a safe, structured learning environment in which children can succeed. I take pride in building a strong relationship in our community while partnering with parents and teachers to ensure lifelong learning.
