La Petite Academy and Sprout

In 2011 Sprout and La Petite Academy partnered to launch Kindness Counts — teaching and celebrating kindness in the classroom, on the playground and at home. Thank you to everyone who participated in the “Season of Kindness” by reading books that encourage kind acts, taking the kindness pledge or making crafts and activities around kindness. Your children’s kind acts were tracked on a Kindness Meter in each school totaling over 65,000 kind acts from November 2011 — January 2012 across affiliated schools. We are so proud of the kind acts demonstrated by your children.

La Petite Academy and Sprout are continuing our kindness mission in 2012 with themes including Being Kind to the Earth, Your Body and Your Friends! This fall, in connection with the launch of Grow Fit, Sprout and La Petite Academy will be promoting the goal of Be Kind to Yourself.
