Keeping Parents in the Loop
One of the keys to ensuring the best Academy experience possible for your child and yourself is great communication. We hope you'll speak to us often about what your child is doing at home. For our part, the Academy has many ways to keep you updated on what she does while she's here and what is happening at the Academy.
We provide parents with a Daily Progress Report, which tells you what your toddler did that day including information on diapering, naptime and feeding. The teacher fills in your toddler's Daily Progress Report, as she is constantly reviewing your toddler's participation in the various daily activities. The Report also contains a tip explaining how to extend learning at home. Be sure to ask to see a copy of this during your Academy visit.
The Family Communications Center within your child's classroom is the place to find the weekly toddler lesson plan, teacher information, parent newsletters, classroom schedule and toddler milestones.
There are plenty of opportunities to connect face-to-face with teachers and the Academy Director at pick-up and drop-off time. If that's not convenient for you, we are always available for an extra conference or meeting should the need arise.
