Special Care, Amazing Growth

What Your Infant's Day Is Like

What will your baby do all day? First and foremost, rest assured that your infant's feeding, diapering and sleeping needs are met, according to her routine. It's during these moments that your baby will develop a special relationship with her infant teacher. Our infant teachers stimulate and challenge your baby whenever she is awake by singing, talking, holding and playing with her. The kinds of activities the teacher engages in with your child are carefully chosen each week to help her reach developmental milestones that are age-appropriate for birth to three months, three to six months, six to nine months and nine to twelve months.

Spend an afternoon with your infant with our sample Infant Activity Plan.

Infant Developmental Milestones

Every child is an individual and will follow her own unique path toward developing.

However, infant teachers create daily plans to make sure your baby engages in all of the activities necessary for her to reach the milestones. Our infant curriculum offers suggested activities for the teacher to choose from based on the progress your baby has made toward various milestones. For example, if your infant is close to sitting up herself, the teacher might plan some of the motor activities that stimulate neck and back muscle development.
