For Location & Tuition Information
Academy Directors and teachers communicate with parents in numerous ways, including parent events, monthly newsletters, monthly calendars, parent information board, classroom journals, parent-teacher conferences and open houses. Here's a brief synopsis of some of our communication tools.
Each La Petite Academy classroom has a Family Communications Center that contains posted lesson plans, menus, daily schedule and any current newsletters from the classroom. This is an easy place for you to go, to glance at the highlights of your child's day.
Located at the front of the Academy, these boards display information about that person your child talks so much about - his teacher.
La Petite Academy publishes a parent newsletter to keep you informed about the exciting activities going on here. Here you'll find information such as the Kids of Character theme of the month, activities to do at home, parent-teacher conference calendars, holidays and upcoming family events. We distribute the newsletter at the Academy, and also publish the newsletter online on the Parent Intranet.
Car Talk - Each day your child's teacher provides you with a snapshot of what your child did that day, called Car Talk. We encourage you to use the Car Talk information as a
going-home routine to reinforce learning and build self-esteem and enjoyable communication with your child.

My Preschool Journey - Each week you'll get a written overview of the literature from that week, the learning objectives that were covered, and the particular activities and learning centers that your child enjoyed.
Theme Newsletters - At the start of each theme, you will receive a letter that details the theme experiences, the literature and education objectives that will be covered, and a family involvement activity to help you extend the learning at home.
Your children aren't the only ones who get assessed at La Petite Academy. Periodically, we ask for parent feedback so we can continue to improve our service to you and your child. Parents are asked to rate:
For general information, you may call 1-800-La Petite or send an email. When sending an email, please let us know the best way to contact you, and if you're a current La Petite Academy parent, tell us in which Academy your child is enrolled.
