We approach art projects a little differently. Instead of teaching the same craft to every child — and every child ending up with the same result — we focus on facilitating the process of creating art.

Children learn to create and refine their work in a variety of media. For example, above you see a work created with paper, glue and collage materials like wooden sticks, feathers and noodles.
When invited to create with a variety of materials, students are encouraged to try different methods to solve a problem. Like these fish, which are made of tissue paper strips and paint.
Our teachers facilitate the art experience, inviting children to create with a variety of materials and tools. For example, this piece was created with markers and tin foil.
By focusing on the process of art, children develop confidence, problem-solving skills and longer attention spans.
