Welcome to our wonderful daycare center here in Sugarland, TX. My name is Lynn Morales and I am the Academy Director of this incredible school. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Houston, a Child Development Associate credential (CDA) and a Director’s Certificate. I have been a Sugar Land resident for 19 years and have been with La Petite for seven years.
I love my job. It is so rewarding to get so many hugs and smiles and watch each child grow every day. I know every child and get to see each one of them as he or she comes in or when I’m visiting a classroom. I love to be there to help my families through the most important years of each child in my care.
We are a 4-star vendor and we’re working toward accreditation.
I work with a remarkable group of teachers. More than 80 percent of my staff have been working here over five years and have or are working toward their CDA credential.

Why Us
Our teachers are a dedicated bunch. They have the education and skills to teach your child the love of learning. They form a special bond with the children and their families. Our school was recently remodeled and features the latest technology. We have two large play areas, separated by age groups. We love the relationships we form with our families. We encourage parents to get involved by volunteering, and we have monthly Parents’ Nights Out. Because security is important, our school has a keypad entry system.
Our Programs
La Petite Academy’s curriculum is industry leading. Developed by our team of education experts, our curriculum is based on age-appropriate learning objectives. Teachers in all of our classrooms have hundreds of activities to choose from, each of which is tied to a specific learning objective. At our school, children will not only make the developmental progress necessary for success in school, they’ll love the activities that help prepare them!
Infant/Toddler Program:
Our infant and toddler rooms have been totally remodeled. Our program is designed to accommodate your child at any developmental stage through individual care. The toddler teacher has been with us more than 20 years and is a caring, nurturing person. A part-time toddler program is available.
Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten Program (4-5 Years):
Our teachers are here to ensure your child is ready to take that next step to kindergarten and beyond. We work closely with the school districts to ensure that our children are ready for kindergarten. Our pre-kindergarten teacher has completed her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and is also part of the Kindergarten Readiness program. To help keep track of our students’ progress, parent/teacher conferences are scheduled. A part-time program is available.
School-Age Program (5-12 Years):
We provide homework assistance, fun games and activities. We transport to the following area schools:
