Welcome to La Petite Academy in Richmond California
I’m very happy to welcome you to our wonderful daycare here in Richmond, CA! I am Miriam, the Academy Director of this great daycare. My background includes a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Brazil and more than 20 years of experience in the field of education.
Simply put, I love to work with children and families. Along with my wonderful and dedicated staff, I am committed to our school and the families we serve. Our goal is to create a caring, nurturing environment and to offer the best education our students can receive. More than half the teachers at our La Petite Richmond have been here over five years and offer more than 40 years of combined experience. Each staff member receives monthly and ongoing training offered by the staff and local community colleges.
One of our parents had been her child’s sole caregiver and was worried her child wouldn’t eat, but our wonderful infant teachers soon had her eating and bonding beautifully with them. This situation speaks so wonderfully for our school, and makes me proud to be a part of it.
