Hello and welcome to our amazing Preschool & daycare center in Las Vegas, NV! My name is Kim, and I am the Academy Director of this fantastic daycare. I have been with La Petite Academy since 1998. I have 20 plus years of experience working in early childhood education, something I’m very proud of. I have always loved children and decided in high school that I wanted to work in early childhood. I love to watch the children in my center grow and learn and have had the pleasure of seeing some of my former students bring their own children to my school.
La Petite Academy was established in 1991 and provides Las Vegas with first-rate child care and early childhood education. Our school is accredited through NECPA.
Our families choose us for our teachers — they are without a doubt the best in the industry. More than half of our staff have 13 or more years of experience in early childhood education. Five of our teachers are fluent in Spanish, which allows us to incorporate Spanish into many of our programs. Our staff is required to take a minimum of 30 hours of training per year in addition to the monthly training we have at our school. Every teacher is CPR and first aid certified as well as trained in SIDS, Color me Healthy, and Positive Guidance techniques. We are a family at the Spring Valley La Petite, our teachers are very close and our families stay with us for years.
