The children at our school are attending a soon-to-be NECPA accredited program that is safe, secure and full of actively engaged learners. Because communication is important to us, we work extra hard to ensure that all our families are comfortable and have opportunities to meet with other families. We have four spacious play yards that are age-appropriate that all adorn bike paths that flow throughout our climbing structures and grassy property. The children love to experiment with our musical instrument fixtures as well as our fountain water table. Our school has the best educational program in the area. I am confident that once you see our capabilities and meet our terrific teachers you will have found the place to begin your child’s early education. We also offer a variety of enrichment programs, including Spanish. We are the beginning steps in the right direction when it comes to premier learning. We strive to meet the needs of every family that walks through our door by offering the highest standards of care and education. We have numerous events throughout the year for families because we truly value participation and encourage the bonding of families and staff.

Our Programs

La Petite Academy’s curriculum is industry leading. Developed by our team of education experts, our curriculum is based on age-appropriate learning objectives. Teachers in all our classrooms have hundreds of activities from which to choose, each tied to a specific learning objective. At our school, children will not only make the developmental progress necessary for success in school, they will love the activities that help prepare them.

Infant/Toddler Program: We have two exceptional teachers who have been with us for more than two years. Our teachers provide one-on-one activities, including tummy time, visual stimulation and the fostering of each child’s personality with activities such as sign language and Spanish. A part-time program is available.

Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten Program (4-5 Years): Many of our children attend full-days, but we also offer morning and afternoon programs. Our preschool and pre-kindergarten teachers have a combined experience of more than 40 years. Our teachers encourage your child to learn in ways that are comfortable and best for them through a variety of educational activities. We also offer a multitude of extracurricular activities for your child. We partner with our local elementary schools to ensure that your child has the necessary educational tools for kindergarten. We promote language, writing and social skills through our curriculum and activities our teachers implement on a daily basis.

School-Age Program (5-12 Years): We offer a school-age program that consists of encouraging our children to become productive, honest members of the community. We provide field trips to community events as well as activities within our school that stress the importance of team-building with a community focus. Our dedicated teachers work with our students to assist with homework along with exciting activities to keep them interested. We transport to the following area schools:

My one year old is already painting and working on art projects. The toys are educational. There are lots of books. There is always music playing. The staff did not panic; they took total control. In the ER, I looked up only to find Mrs. Aimee and Ms. Julia standing right next to me, waiting to see how my little one was doing and the rest of the staff were texting me to make sure I was doing all right.
