Creating Well-Rounded Children With Character

As part of our Whole Child philosophy, a La Petite Academy education incorporates our Kids of Character program, which explores positive character traits.

Each month, the program highlights a children’s book that emphasizes skills such as teamwork, citizenship, kindness and respect. We bring the concepts alive through the characters in children’s books. We then ask questions and discuss how each child can emulate the positive traits in their own lives. The result is a fun and meaningful way to develop “Kids of Character.”

Kids of Character is offered in the Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and School Age programs.
